K. Freyer (Baker Hudges INTEQ)

Baker Hudges INTEQ, one of the world leaders in developing equipment for coiled tubing, drilling at present is preoccupied with development of new shank assembling for coiled tubing called Coil Trak. This system is a second-generation unit of shank assembling for underbalanced drilling with delivery along coiled tubing with diameter 3,5 inches. At present there is a prototype of shank assembling Coil Trak with diameter 2 3/8 дюйма which has passed successful tests in Oman and Alaska in January and February 2001. New shank assembling Coil Trak presents a system of coiled tubing drilling, lifted with the help of rope with outside diameter 2 3/8 дюйма. The system is developed for drilling of wells with diameters from 2 3/ 4  to 3 1/ 2 inches for applying in equilibrium and in drawdown.
