IN THE ENERGY HEART OF RUSSIA

On September 16-19 the Tyumen International Trade Fair held the 10th International Specialized Exhibition "Oil and Gas-2003. Conversion and Engineering for Energy Sector". It was held within the celebration of the 50th anniversary of opening the Western-Siberian Oil-and-Gas Province. Half a century ago, the gas blow-out at the Beryozovo key well announced the birth of the country's new centre for oil and gas extraction and gave rise to the development of wealth of the region. The Exhibition was held with the traditional participation and support of the Ministry of Energy of the Russian Federation, Administrations of the Tyumen Province and city of Tyumen, Union of Oil-and-Gasmen of Russia and Russian Academy of Sciences. Exhibition "Oil and Gas. Conversion and Engineering for Energy Sector" is a visiting card of not only the Tyumen International Trade Fair, but also of the whole region.
