| THE UNIVERSTY OF TULSA. COILED TUBING MECHANICS RESEARCH CONSORTIUM |
 |
The TUCTMRC was established in 2000, based on successful CT mechanisms research
conducted at the University of Tulsa since 1989. This included efforts to model
the plasticity and fatigue behavior of coiled tubing, and two JIP's to study (1)
elongation and diametral growth, and (2) the influence of surface defects on fatigue
resistance. The article deals with the main objectives and current projects of
the consortium, potential future research areas, its history and accomplishments. full text of the article | all articles of this issue
