Pilots don’t say: “I’m going on my last flight”. They say: “…next flight”. Probably
this is wrong in terms of stylistics, but this is very correct from the psychological
point of view. We are about to make our 11th flight. We believe that it will
be next and not last. The crew of International Conference on Coiled Tubing
and Well Intervention includes both beginners and veterans, who recall the times
of the first CT conference, defined as All-Russian at that time. These romantic
memories are filled with light sadness. They were 10 years younger and their belief
in the power of new technologies was even stronger. Yet, let the veterans speak
