Information about the 13th International Scientific and Practical COILED TUBING AND WELL INTERVENTION CONFERENCE

13 th International Scientific and Practical COILED TUBING AND WELL INTERVENTION CONFERENCE will take place at the Aerostar Hotel in Moscow, Leningradskiy Ave., 37, b. 9, October 31 – November 2, 2012.
 
The Conference is organized by the Russian Chapter of The Intervention & Coiled Tubing Association (ICoTA), Coiled Tubing Technologies Development Center (NP CTTDC) and Coiled Tubing Times Journal.
 
Traditionally the Conference gathers together representatives of major oil and gas producing, oil service and equipment manufacturing companies, including Gazprom, Rosneft, Lukoil, TNK-BP, Surgutneftegas, Gazprom neft, Bashneft, Tatneft, Belorusneft, Integra, Zarubezhneft, Schlumberger, Trican Well Service, Halliburton, Weatherford, NOV, Global Tubing and others.
 
Educational short course will be held on October 31 (the first day of the Conference). This time the focus of the course will be on enhanced oil recovery technologies, well workover and maintenance, as well as on the last developments in the field of coiled tubing drilling. Each attendee of the short course will be awarded Certificate of Attendance. Participation in the short course is optional. Additional information can be found here.
 
We invite you to take part in technical sessions of the Conference (November 1-2), the program of which along with casual communication between the participants is expected to be very rich. You are always welcome to present your report, the topic of which should be sent to the Organizing Committee (cttimes@cttimes.org) before 01.10.2012.
 
Technical sessions will focus on the following topics:
  • oil recovery enhacement technologies;
  • sidetracking, including coiled tubing;
  • oil and gas production stimulation, including hydraulic fracturing technologies, and their performance evaluation;
  • squeeze job in oil and gas wells;
  • technologies and equipment for unconventional hydrocarbons development, including high-viscosity oil production;
  • modern methods of geophysical well logging;
  • oil field chemistry;
  • equipment, materials and tools for well servicing and workover;
  • information service for well intervention.
During the main part of the Conference (November 1-2) a specialized exhibition will be organized. There you will be able to conduct negotiations, make a presentation or place the most important equipment models and elements.
