“RussNeft” has launched the integrated pilot project of hydraulic fracturing at mature fields

PJSC “RussNeft” has started implementation of pilot programme for hydrofracturing at the mature fields.

The testing of the integrated project was conducted in autumn of 2017 at the fields of Saratovneftegaz, a subsidiary of PJSC “RussNeft”.

The first well, drilled under the programme, gave the record flow rate growth of 90 tonnes per day.

In December 2017, the first hydraulic proppant fracturing in the carbonate productive sediments will be performed by the Company.

The pilot project will significantly contribute to better cost efficiency of the brown field development, including through the highly efficient well intervention.
