On June, 3-5 Weatherford specialists took part in SPE conference in Saint-Petersburg devoted to application of digital technologies in field management. Weatherford acted as a sponsor of this event and presented two reports on the Company’s own technologies and experience in their application.

 

Mario Toro, Production Optimization Software Solutions Sales Manager, Weatherford, was part of the Conference Program Committee and Manager of the Session "Real-Time Surveillance and Management". Mario gave a presentation "i-DO – A Daily Operations Software Platform and True Optimizer", where he, using Ekofisk area fields (Norwegian Part of the North Sea) as an example, described challenges typical for such fields and solutions provided by Weatherford software.

 

Alexandr Muravyev, Geoscience Advisor, R&D, Weatherford LLC, gave a presentation "Advanced systems for monitoring of field development", where he outlined a variety of Weatherford technologies, measurement systems and software products for successful digital field management.
