In Ecuador, the 10th well has already been drilled. It is located on the Armadillo field (Block 55), like all previous ones. On May 19, she entered production mode. Now a total of ten wells give 500 tons of oil per day. At the end of last year, this figure was 270 tons. It was possible to “grow” at the expense of four wells drilled already in 2019.

Despite the fact that Armadillo (Block 55) is a new facility, which means with high exploration risks, all the wells drilled in Ecuador by the Belarusian oil industry workers went to work effectively. Therefore, such an increase in production is estimated at Belorusneft as a significant success. The success of the whole team of geologists, seismic prospectors, engineers working in Ecuador and Belarus.

This year in Belorusneft, like the previous one, is considered important from the point of view of the development of oil fields in Ecuador. In 2019, in addition to the four already constructed wells, it is planned to drill two more. And bring the operating fund to 12 wells. And also to complete the construction of the entire ground infrastructure for the preparation of oil and water at the Armadillo field (Block 55).
