Belorusneft is updating operational procedures to maintain high production rates. We use all the available technical capabilities and constantly update them.

One of the key tools of improving the production efficiency is upgrading of the reservoir pressure maintenance (injection) system - introduction of horizontal pumping stations at the Belarusian fields. They are replacing modular cluster. At a certain stage, modular cluster pumping stations performed an important function: in some reservoirs, especially with low-permeability, they helped to stop the reservoir pressure decreasing speed, and thus maintain oil production. Sometimes they even allowed putting suspended oil reservoirs and fields back into operation.

Horizontal pumping stations are easier to maintain, more efficient, powerful and have higher capacity.

At Belorusneft fields, 19 horizontal pumping stations are used. By the end of 2019, we plan to introduce another 7 and another 10 next year.
