Belarusian oilmen achieved such a historical result in 2018. The growth of recoverable hydrocarbon reserves amounted to 1 million 673 thousand tons. The structure and depletion of reserves - the inevitable result of their half a century of development.

But Belorusneft achieved what seemed impossible. Oil production was not enough to start at a certain level. And in 2019 they plan to increase by 20 thousand tons - up to 1 million 690 thousand tons. Moreover, the increase in hydrocarbon reserves should fully compensate for it. Overcoming the imbalance in the company intends to make the trend of the coming years.

Such an ambitious task requires geologists to work hard and extremely diligently with resources in all areas. The increase in oil recovery coefficients, additional exploration, exploration drilling - the secret of last year's success in the growth of reserves.

Mining and the share of industrial stocks in total production. All this is due to a comprehensive, targeted approach to the development of existing fields and new sites, the introduction of modern technologies.

The course for maximum results will continue in 2019. It is planned to break last year's records in terms of 3D field seismic exploration and exploration drilling. It is expected that every fifth well drilled in Belorusneft will be exploration. The search for oil deposits is concentrated in the central zone of the Pripyat Trough — in the North-Omelkovschina, Makanovichsky and East-Makanovichsky areas, as well as in the Northern zone - in the Ipov and Pasichaya subsalt structures.
