Following the recent competitive tender procedures used to identify the suppliers of oil production equipment and well service equipment for OAO NK Bashneft, Rimera Group will broaden both the range and volume of sales to the oil company.
Rimera-Service, the Group’s oilfield service division, has won a 3 year contract to maintain a portion of the sucker rod pump units operated by Bashneft. The stock of more than 700 wells shall be maintained by Rimera-Service-Povolzhye branch based in Buguruslan. At the end of 2013 the branch was audited by Bashneft.
By the end of 1Q 2014 Rimera Group’s Almetyevsk-based Alnas will ship to Bashneft 5 and 5А size electric submersible pump systems (ESPs). A total of 20 pump units shall be delivered under the contract.
Rimera's Chelyabinsk-based manufacturing company of the Trunk Pipeline Equipment division will soon complete a large shipment of 650 pipe bends (250 tonnes). The 530 mm diameter hot-formed bends with 12 mm thick walls are made of 13XFA steel. These shall be used to create oilfield infrastructure from the initial water separation unit of A. Titov oilfield to the central pumping station of R. Trebs oilfield. To complete the order SOT has used pipes fabricated using high frequency current welding method for the first time.
The value of the contracts has not been disclosed.
“Bashneft is one of Rimera Group's strategic partners, with which we have a productive relationship of long standing. In 2013 the volume of sales almost tripled from 2012 level. This year we have an opportunity to practice a truly integrated approach, simultaneously performing as suppliers of oil production equipment, providers of packaged maintenance services, and suppliers of pipe fittings for our client's new field in Yamalo-Nenets Autonomous Okrug,” says Konstantin Samsonov, Rimera Group Commercial Director, commenting on further cooperation with Bashneft.
