Slavneft-Megionneftegas has begun to implement the project “Intellectual Multi-Well Platform” at its blocks. The new project provides for setting up a system of remote control and monitoring of oil production.
Broadband technologies make it possible to receive virtually unlimited data volumes from all the intellectual facilities at a multi-well platform and to remotely control each well, choosing the most effective daily regimes for submersible equipment functioning.
A multi-well platform at the Aganskoye field became the first “intellectual” facility of Megionneftegas, the company’s press service said. Very soon, broadband data transmission systems will be installed at the Taylakskoye and West-Ust-Balykskoye licensed blocks. Further development of this technology will allow technical specialists of the company to faster obtain the data needed for effective analysts and planning of prospecting works.
Open Joint-Stock Oil and Gas Company Slavneft (OAO NGK Slavneft) was established on August 26, 1994. The key founders of Slavneft were the State Property Committee of the Russian Federation and the State Property Ministry of the Republic of Belarus with 86.3% and 7.2% of initial allocation in the Company’s equity, respectively.
The Company’s key oil production subsidiary is OAO Slavneft-Megionneftegaz (OAO SN-MNG). OAO SN-MNG operates at the Megionskoye, Aganskoye, Vatinskoye and other fields producing about 1.5 mln. tons of hydrocarbons every month. The annual output of all the Holding’s Subsidiaries is approximately 18 mln. tons of oil.
