OJSC Oil Company Yangpur is preparing for the commissioning of the well number 828 of Metelny oil field. That is why it is planned to connect the oil field gas pipeline to the gas gathering pipeline system of Gazprom Dobycha Noyabrsk LLC and thus start delivering gas from the large gas deposits discovered last year.

The well number 828 of Metelny oil field at depth of 3730 m was drilled last year. Upon its completion there was a strong natural gas flow of 276.5 thousand cubic meters and condensate of 24.9 cubic meters. To evaluate the industrial potential of this area they continue to explore other promising areas.

The trial production operation is scheduled to start before the end of March of 2017. The top management of OJSC Yangpur and LLC Gazprom Dobycha Noyabrsk agreed on a temporary scheme of transportation, accounting and sales of production, project documentation is under examination.

Open Joint Stock Company "Oil Company" Yangpur "was established in May 2012. Directors of JSC "NC" Yangpur "is Sushchik Anatoly. Economic activity is conducted in the region of the branch of the Company in the Yamal-Nenets Autonomous District, Izvestia on the license area.
