On Izvestinskiy license area, developed by LLC Yangpur drilling of the first exploration directional well No. 828 of Vostochno-Metelnaya area was started. It’s being constructed using echelon drilling rig BU-3000, with design depth of 3,250 m. By putting the producer No. 828 to production, it is planned to study Vostochno-Metelnaya structure and transfer significant hydrocarbon reserves into commercial category. By preliminary estimates of the experts, recoverable reserves of category С₃ of Vostochno-Metelnaya structure are around 13,5 mln t. If the calculations are correct, the first oil and gas producing enterprise of Belorusneft in Russia will greatly boost its industrial potential and the perspective of oil production increase. 

After the construction of well No. 828 of Vostochno-Metelnaya structure is completed, it is planned to drill producer No. 124 of Osenneye oil field with project depth of 3,180 m. Here, the reservoirs producing oil at the moment will be developed. It is also expected that the complex of work will allow specifying the oil field geologic structure, widening the knowledge on potential of deep-sunk Jurassic deposits.

Besides, for active development of remaining reserves of Izvestinskoye oil field in 2016 it is planned to drill  three development wells: two producers and one injector with the depth more than 3,000 m each.
