Belarusian oil industry workers were glad to hear news from theWestern Siberia. In the month of October operating well stock of the first Belorusneft's asset in Russia was increased by one more high-rate well. Well No. 820s2 drilled at the Osennee oilfield of OJSC Yangpur Oil Company delivered surface oil flow at rate of over 100 tons per day.
The construction of this well with depth of 3,455 m was preceded by a thorough analysis of seismic materials as well as results of drilling and operation of already existing wells. Effective actions of Belorusneft's subdivisions, Yangpur Oil Company and BelNIPIneft institute, made it possible to determine the optimal location for offshoot placing. According to the data of the geophysical research, another 16 m of oil-saturated layers were singled out. In the long term, they will become an auxiliary production object.
This is the second high-rate well drilled at the Osennee oilfield by the efforts of Belorusneft-Siberia affiliate service enterprise. In early September well No. 123s2 delivered a surface oil flow after the drilling of the offshoot. Its daily flow rate totaled 100 tons.
