Alnas Plant, Rimera Group, has shipped a batch of complete electrical submersible pump units (ESPU) for RN-Snabzheniye-Nefteyugansk, Rosneft subsidiary.

In June and July, the Company shipped 647 ordered ESPUs as contracted. The units will be run at the client’s oil and gas fields.

The ESPUs have been upgraded to incorporate the latest Rimera Group solutions, i. e. 117-mm energy-efficient submersible motors with increased power of 45 kW and vortex gas separators. The shipped equipment lot also included 0215 series corrosion-resistant pumps, 5 and 5 a sizes, for oil production in harsh environment.

The new equipment conforms to the energy-efficiency, durability, and reliability requirements. The energy efficiency of the unit motor is ensured by increased input power, thus 2-2.5 times lowering the operating current and reducing the energy loss in the cables. Vortex gas separators developed in cooperation with the Gubkin Russian State University of Oil and Gas are characterized by high reliability achieved by employing new technical solutions for the ESP’s wet part design.

“To promptly complete orders, the plant is actively increasing its production output: As per the first half-year results, the Company has increased production of the electrical submersible pumps by 18% and production of submersible motors by 33%,” commented Sergey Shunin, Alnas Executive Director.

Alnas plant will continue to deliver its products to Rosneft until the end of 2017.
