The Pipeline Bends will ship around 1,300 items to the oil company for routine maintenance by the end of the year.

Spools dia. Ø114 to 219mm, wall thickness 6mm and 8mm made of Grade K-52 steel will be fabricated in compliance with Technical Specifications 14-1-5598-2011. The spools will be assembled with pipes made by ChelPipe and spool pieces and pressed bends with 1.5DN bend radius and 30, 60, 90° turning angles produced by the Pipeline Bends. Until recently, Rimera Group's cooperation with Surgutneftegaz was limited to the supply of pipe bends.

"The products for oil producers will be our second large order for spools in 2015. The products of ChelPipe Group’s pipe division used in spooling help us promptly batch the orders and maintain high quality across the entire product range", says Leonid Malamud, Executive Director of the Pipeline Bends.

As previously reported, in June 2015, the spooling facility of Rimera Group's Ural plant was upgraded with the new Russian-made welding unit Voskhod as part of the plant renovation. The upgrade has helped the Pipeline Bends speed up the spooling orders while maintaining the high-quality properties of its products.
