Izhneftemash plant, part of Rimera Group, has reported a 38% increase in product sales in 2014.

Output growth has been recorded across the entire product lineup of the plant. In 2014, Izhneftemash manufactured 470 pumpjacks, over 7,000 subsurface sucker rod pumps, 600 gear trains, 100 power tongs and suspended tongs, 750,000 tubing collars, and some 200 units of wheeled machinery — mixing and cementing units.

In 2014, Izhneftemash marketed over 10 units that are in demand with customers: the UNB2-250x50K two-pump cementing unit, the USP-20K mixing unit, the upgraded KPSh-3M suspended sucker rod tongs, and other equipment. The plant also started manufacturing control stations for electrical centrifugal pumps.

An estimated 78.5% of the plant's products were sold in the domestic market. Among the largest customers are leading Russian oil production companies: Tatneft (sales increased by 1.6 times compared to 2013), Surgutneftegaz (+9.8%), Rosneft (+1%), Bashneft (by 4 times), LUKOIL (by 2.5 times), and the Russian division of Schlumberger (by 3 times). Exports increased by 1.6 times to reach 21.5% of all sales. Kazakhstan has become the number-one export partner of Izhneftemash plant: shipments to Kazakhstan have increased to 77% of total export sales.

The Izhevsk-based plant of Rimera Group has succeeded in boosting output and product sales after implementing lean production solutions, developing the production system, and perfecting the manufacturing process.

“In 2015, we plan to maintain the growth trend and increase output and sales by a further 30-40% by setting up production of new oil field equipment, expanding sales markets, and further optimizing our production process flows,” says Izhneftemash Executive Director Sergei Shunin.
