Izhmeftemash plant, part of Rimera Group, has shipped a batch of DP 70 pump jacks worth in total more than $4,000,000 to Venezuela. The pump jacks will be used at the fields of the Venezuelan state-owned oil company PDVSA.
Izhneftemash plant has fulfilled all of its contractual obligations to the Venezuelan company. The DP 70 pump jacks were custom-designed by specialists of the plant's Technical Center to meet the company's individual requirements and suit local oil production conditions. As opposed to the same drive in a PNSH 60 rod pump, the new drive has greater draft force and a greater range of rod stroke lengths. According to client requirements, the drive was fitted with a special barrier to limit the access to the pump jack and the wellhead, and an additional cover was provided to protect the electric motor. Moreover, the gearbox cover and the drain plug have tamper and oil drain protection.
"This contract demonstrates the plant's capabilities to supply oilfield equipment to the Latin American market, and we are hoping for further cooperation. Export growth is part of the strategy of Rimera Group, whose member-companies have sufficient potential to sell its products in the CIS as well as far abroad. An increase in shipments and diversification of the client's portfolio due to international contracts will facilitate steady development of our company", says Rimera's General Director Vitaly Sadykov.
Rimera Group is a division of ChelPipe, combining its assets in equipment and services for energy sector companies. The Group incorporates leading Russian petroleum engineering companies, top manufacturers of pipe bends and valves, well logging companies, and a network of service facilities across Russia's key oil-producing regions.
