Rimera to Repair ESP Systems at Two Rosneft Companies
19.03.2013
Alnas, a Rimera Group manufacturing company, has begun to overhaul oilfield pumping equipment under its contracts with Rosneft companies.
The Almetyevsk-based manufacturer undertakes the work under two contracts awarded this past January. According to the terms of the year-long agreements, Rimera will provide major repair of electric submersible pump systems (ESPs) for two operating units of Russia’s Rosneft: RN-Severnaya Neft, LLC and RN-Yuganskneftegaz, LLC.
The first batches of oilfield equipment to undergo comprehensive repair were delivered to the Alnas production facility within the first ten days of March.
“Rosneft and its producing assets are key customers of Rimera Group,” says Rimera Head of O&G Equipment Sales Konstantin Samsonov. “Our sales of equipment and services to Rosneft increased by seven percent (7%) in 2012. RN-Yuganskneftegaz, the largest Rosneft oil producing subsidiary, selected Rimera as a provider of both well-logging services and comprehensive oilfield services.”
“Rimera service subsidiaries located in Russia’s major oil-producing regions directly work with oil companies. The interaction between the companies within our group enables us to develop the capacity to meet the needs of our customers in a comprehensive manner,” added Samsonov.
