KamNIIKIGS, JSC (town of Perm, the company is a part of Rosgeo State Holding) has successfully completed all the works planned for the first half of 2019.

The company’s specialists conducted the exploration under state orders and contracts signed with private subsoil user companies.

The works were performed by state order and related to the re-interpretation of seismic materials in the Timano-Pechora province, the core exploration in the South-Eastern part of the Pre-Urals Foreland Basin and the exploration of the core and formation fluids in the Bazhenov parametric well.

In particular, the seismic materials were analyzed in the area of the 31-RS profile planned to be implemented in the Timano-Pechora province. The regional distribution patterns of main oil and gas complexes were studied, i.e. the lithological and stratigraphic profiles and correlation patterns of deep wells were compiled, the work on the justification and retracing of single reflectors was continued, and their analysis with regard to seismic and stratigraphic complexes and tectonic elements was made. The development of frame of the geological and geophysical model of the Western slope of the Urals was commenced, a geological map and a split map were compiled and the consolidated GIS Project based upon the work results was drawn up. There was made 1D modeling of the Kalimyel-1 log within the western side of the Verkhnepechora Depression, based on which the possible sources of hydrocarbon generation were forecasted with regard to different phase state, i.e. from oil to gas condensate and gas with high content of heavy hydrocarbons.

The exploration and analytical works related to the impact of tectonic processes on the subsoil’s thermal regime in suture area of the South-Eastern part of the Pre-Urals Foreland Basin and West-Ural fold system were continued, i.e. the distribution of heat and modern temperature field for this area was considered, the forecast maps of the geoisotherm on the deep levels were compiled. As a result, the volume forecast of interval geothermal gradients in the study area was made, the thermographs of actual final temperature in the wells were obtained.

At present, the final office work on the results of laboratory and analytical studies of rocks and fluids in the Bazhenov parametric wells are being performed.

Moreover, KamNIIKIGS, JSC, is working under the contracts signed with subsoil user companies with regard to the laboratory studies of core and formation fluids of deposits in the Perm Region and the Udmurt Republic, monitoring of groundwater and chemical composition of medicinal and table water.
