Rosgeo will perform 3D seismic studies ordered by OOO “Gazprom geologorazvedka” in the North-Kharasaveysky area. The parent company’s request for proposals was acknowledged the best one.

The work will be performed in 2019. According to the work statement, 3D MOGT seismic studies of 1875 km2(in full scope) will be performed and it will specify the geological structure of the area. Cretaceous and Jurassic sediments of the sedimentary sheath will be objective in this area and the main part of hydrocarbon potential of the Kara Sea’s shelf is related to them.

North-Kharasaveysky licensed site is located in the South-Eastern part of the Kara Sea’s shelf. The depth of the Sea varies from 145 m (North-West) to 12 m (East) within the study area; the depth of the biggest part makes up 50-30 m.
