Professor Logachev research vessel (AO PMGRE) left St. Petersburg on December 7, 2018 to perform the works in the waters of the Kingdom of Bahrain.

AO Yuzhmorgeologiya (it is a part of AO Rosgeo parent company) begins vessel and equipment mobilization to conduct complex geophysical exploration under the agreement concluded with Tatweer Petroleum – Bahrain Field Development Company on the shelf of the Kingdom.

As a part of the project, marine and land gravity magnetic surveys, geochemical and electromagnetic studies, and also marine engineering-geophysical and hydrographic surveys were planned.

The works are performed under the Agreement in the field of geophysical studies for oil and gas exploration and extraction, signed in September 2016 in Moscow upon the results of the negotiations held between Vladimir Putin, the RF President and Hamad bin Issa al-Khalifa, the King of Bahrain.

The work is scheduled for January 2019.
