RN-Yuganskneftegaz, Rosneft’s largest oil-producing enterprise, has set a new record for crude and condensate daily output since 1986 - 184,549 tons per day.

This became possible due to successful implementation of a program on launching new wells, performing well interventions, adding undeveloped reserves to development, an increase in equipment operation efficiency, as well as to a start of production on Chupalsk licence area ahead of the schedule.

The enterprise doubled its horizontal-well drilling rate. In addition, a new production reference mark of 16 days was established during construction of two-casing horizontal wells. Wells with horizontal length of 1,500 m were put into operation.

RN-Yuganskneftegaz is outstripping the well intervention program: 382 more than planned operations were performed within five months of this year, which allowed to increase the volume of additional oil production by 40%. Incremental growth amounted to 4,300 tons per day to the level of 2016. This was facilitated by a 10% increase in capacity of conducting fracking operations and an improvement of the quality of the work performed.

It is expected that by the end of 2017, RN-Yuganskneftegaz will additionally produce about 11.5 million tons of oil through the implementation of the well intervention program. The enterprise will also continue to develop hard-to-recover reserves and introduce new technological solutions for the drilling program.

The achievement of the peak production rate by RN-Yuganskneftegaz is an illustrative example of how the Rosneft's program of effective production on mature fields is being successfully implemented.
