Seismologists of Belorusneft for the first time undertake field operations in Krasnodar Territory

In Krymsk region Belarusian experts are implementing a 3D seismic acquisition projects over an area of 55 square kilometers and 2D seismic exploration over 130 line kilometers. The operations have been performed in compliance with the agreement between Belorusneft and Geoseis-Technology.

To implement the agreement 5 vibroseis sources СВ 30/120Н produced by JSC Seismotechnika in Gomel and 8 specialists of the Department of Field Seismic Operations were sent to Russia.

Geoseis-Technology Company is a part of the famous Geoseis Holding and specializes in geologic survey and geophysical studies. Belarusian seismologists have been cooperating with this company for a period over 15 years. Department of Field Seismic Operations every year renders services on delegation of personnel and provision of equipment to perform seismic operations in various regions of the Russian Federation.

Besides, twice a year Russians along with Belarusian colleagues hold workshops in geophysics in Rechitsa which helps to establish contacts, study global tendencies of seismic exploration, as well as analyze prospects of implementation of modern technologies and equipment.
