Production Association Belorusneft for the first time in its history will carry out complex geological studies in Stavropol region, Russia. This information was provided to BelTA by the Press Service of the Company.

Department of field seismic operations won a contract for complex seismic studies, which was put out by Rosneft-Stavropolneftegaz. It is referred to seismic exploration on Achikulakskoye and Vladimirskoye oil fields. Under the contract, Belarusian specialists will perform 3D seismic exploration on the area of 185 square kilometers.

Such massive studies on the territory of Russian Federation will be carried out by Belarusian seismologists for the first time. To perform the work it’s planned to engage the maximum of equipment and machinery. Experts of the Department of field seismic operations will perform topographic-geodesic estimation, drilling of shot holes, signal recording, quality control and preliminary processing of data.
