SPD Produced 6.1 Mln of Tons in 2015

In 2015 Salym Petroleum Development N.V. (SPD) delivered 6 109 400 tons (43 936 184 barrels) of production. SPD slowed down its production decline rate by 35%.
SPD delivered its annual oil production plan ahead of schedule, exceeding its target by 1% by beating its WRFM program and reducing the duration of its shutdown. The company drilled wells faster than in 2014, delivering 78 new wells in 2015 compared to its target of 70. SPD completed its Central Processing Facility upgrade in 32 hours compared to its target of 48 hours, reducing oil deferment by 40%.
The total cumulative oil production volume from the Salym fields to date exceeds 64.7 mln tons.
Salym Petroleum Development N.V. (SPD) is a Joint Venture set up in 1996 with a view to develop the Salym group of oilfields in Western Siberia. SPD shareholders on a 50:50 basis are Shell Salym Development B.V. and Gazprom Neft.
