Targin and GDC have agreed to cooperate in oilfield services

Targin, a Russian oilfield service company, and Kenya Geothermal Development Co. (The Republic of Kenya) signed a Memorandum of Understanding at the IV Russian-African Forum (RAF) as part of the INNOPROM-2016.  The Memorandum was signed by Targin CEO Mr. Kamil Zakirov on behalf of Targin, JSC and the Member of the Board of Directors of GDC Mr. Michael Ogwapit on behalf of GDC.

In accordance with the MOU, the parties affirmed their intent to develop strategic co-operation in geothermal drilling projects in Kenya Republic.

‘’We pin high hopes on our cooperation with GDC. The Memorandum allows to define the scope and framework of cooperation to develop strategic relationship with our Kenyan partners,’’ Kamil Zakirov summed up.

Targin is a large Russian multiproduct integrated oilfield service holding, consisting of a managing company and 4 subsidiaries. Targin is 100% owned by Sistema, JSFC. The main areas of expertise are: drilling; well servicing and workover: engineering, manufacturing and upgrade of oilfiled equipment; transportation and logistics services. According to RBC magazine rating,  Targin has joined Top 500 Russian companies list, and Targin Drilling, a subsidiary company, is ranked as one of the top effective drilling contractors, according to the Ministry of Industry and Trade.
