The exploratory well No. 829 was completed at the Metelnoye oil field. The plans for its construction depended on the results of seismic operations, processing and reinterpretation of the field materials obtained at the Izvestinski license block.

We would like to remind that in 2015 the specialists of BelNIPIneft specified the geological structure of the fields and identified potentially petroleum-bearing zones - for deep drilling.

As one of them became the East-Melnaya. As a result of drilling well No. 828, the gas condensate deposit BP7 / 2 of the Minefield was discovered. From the well we received an inflow of more than 350 thousand cubic meters of gas and more than 30 cubic meters of gas condensate per day.

Later, during the development of this well, specialists specified the geological structure of the deposit, developed proposals for estimating reserves, confirming and clarifying the boundaries of possible oil and gas traps in other formations.
