On June 8, Russian Federal Agency for Subsurface Use signed amendments to the existing license. These amendments give permission  for exploration work on relevant projects during the license validity.

We remind  that main activities of JSC Oil company “Yangpur"  are exploration, development, production, transportation, sales of hydrocarbons, oil, gas and related products. The company's specialists work at four oilfields located in the Yamalo-Nenetski Autonomous District - Izvestinskoe, Ossenjee, Viuzhnoe.

The company is actively involved into the additional exploration of the area. So, since the middle of 2013, 8 sidetracks were drilled at Izvestinskoe licensed area. It gave the opportunity to find out the geological structure’s details of the oilfields and increased oil production. For eighteen months of the asset ownership, daily production has increased in 50%. For further results we plan to increase the resource base and production volume - the company intends to continue exploration, drilling of new wells- that is the key direction in the development of the company. For example, in September it is scheduled to start drilling of the first exploratory well on the East-Metelsky structure, outlined on the basis of the interpretation of seismic data.

The second most important document to start deposit search should become the updated license "Amendments to the area exploration work project at Izvestinskoe licensed area." The specialists of the Company will start its creation together with the Belarusian colleagues after the completion of processing and interpretation of seismic data, which is being made in BelNIPIneft. This document will give us more confidence in evaluating the prospects of search and will determine the company’s future exploration strategy.
