Representatives of the largest Russian oil companies named Weatherford the best contractor for well servicing/workover and sidetracking (WS/WO and ST) – this was officially announced at the VIII Annual International Conference NEFTEGAZSERVICE-2013 (Oilfield Services-2013).

 

An independent expert rating of the best oilfield service companies in drilling, WS/WO and ST, hydraulic fracturing, cementing and seismic survey was made following the July meeting of the Advisory Council of the RF Duma for Development of Russian Service Market. 11 leading oil producers from Bashkortostan, Moscow, St. Petersburg, Tatarstan and Khanty-Mansiysk Autonomous Area participated in it.

 

Weatherford entities were presented in “Drilling”, “WS/WO and ST”, “Hydraulic Fracturing” and “Well Cementing”, and in three categories out of four the Company was among the leaders. In “Well Servicing/ Workover and Sidetracking” Weatherford was named the best service company among 43 companies presented.

 

The award ceremony took place on October, 8 at the VIII Annual International Conference NEFTEGAZSERVICE-2013 held in Moscow. At this event leading oilfield service companies and vendors also discussed the industry problems and prospects with their customers.
