The new product complements a line of products and solutions of SSTenergomontazh for electrical heating and heat insulating of pipelines, vessels and processing equipment of oil and gas enterprises.

The thermal shielding membranes Reform are produced on the basis of a polymer dispersion with a high content of the hollow ceramic microspheres. The product is applied to pipelines or equipment by the spraying method. After solidification, it forms the membrane-type coating that is saturated with the hollow isolated particles. The Reform membranes are easily applied in difficult to reach areas, require no shutdown of processing equipment, available for visual inspection and refer to the class of ecologically clean materials.

The Reform membrane enables to reduce density of heat flows in the layer 2-4 mm thick, to effectively shift a dew point (the temperature at which moisture condenses from the air) upward, to reflect ultraviolet radiation. These properties enable the material to become an effective barrier between warm and cold.

The thermal shielding membranes are used as additional protection of equipment against corrosion as well as the material increasing the heat insulating system characteristics.

The Reform membranes minimize the contact of ambient environment with anti-corrosion coating in anti-corrosion systems due to the water-repellent properties. Moving the dew point, the Reform membranes prevent condensate formation and due to its elasticity they mitigate any possible mechanical damages of anti-corrosion coating.

In the heat insulating systems, the thermal shielding membranes Reform serve as the first contact layer that saves from a "thermal shock" (the cyclic temperature drops, the peak heat load) on top insulating layers by preventing their damage and loss of heat insulating properties.

The new product by SSTenergomontazh is most effective when applying to units and equipment which are susceptible to corrosion under the heat insulation: pipelines, vessels, heat exchangers, tanks, steam lines, valves and taps.
