In 2015, 30 innovations in the fields of drilling, workover, enhanced oil recovery, oil extraction, as well as geology, geophysics, field development and gas processing are expected to be implemented in the Belarusian region.
Many innovations are related to ultradeep drilling technologies and, in particular, to the drilling of record depth parametric and exploration well No. 1 Predrechitskaya, through which the experts will be able to evaluate the oil-bearing potential in deep-seated blocks of regional faults. The innovations also include the oilfield and downhole equipment, perforation and three-stage cementing technology, as well as ultradeep well logging.
The plan provides for the design and use of new drilling fluids, cementing materials in order to reduce the time and complications during drilling, as well as hydraulic fracturing technology improvements.
Most of this year's new products are designed to improve the performance of mechanized well stock. Another innovations include the development and implementation of methodology for assessing the prospects of extraction from unconventional hydrocarbon deposits in tight reservoirs, as well as field trials related to cyclic tests of deposits of the Eastern block of Tishkovskoye field.
Belorusneft is a state-owned vertically integrated petroleum company. It is a top performer of the fuel and energy complex of the Republic of Belarus, established in 1966.
Belorusneft comprises over 40 subdivisions for oilfield services, engineering, design, gas processing, and petroleum product sales in Belarus, Russia, Ukraine, Venezuela, Ecuador, and Poland.
