HIPPO USA Introduces Tertia Frac Technology

Reaching a new pinnacle of safety, efficiency, scalability and environmental responsibility, HIPPO USA launches their patent-pending Tertia Frac solution, reducing the footprint of a frac site to one-third that of a traditional frac operation.

Using a system of innovative, proprietary tanks and pumps along with a greatly simplified fill and discharge process, Tertia Frac makes operation, storage and transportation more space and energy efficient, creating a safer work environment by reducing work-zone hazards.

“HIPPO USA is bringing frac sites and their processes into the future,” said Norbert Steiger, partner and CEO of HIPPO USA. “The Tertia Frac system will provide companies with the advantages required to meet ever-increasing environmental standards, providing more responsible use of resources, and greater profit margins.”

The company’s proprietary HDP-HPP pump skid can replace multiple traditional high-pressure frac pumps, reducing a frac site’s footprint even more. The result is a solution that provides scalable discharge capacity of up to 600 barrels per minute while reducing fuel consumption, emissions and capital investment.

Tertia Frac can be cost-effectively transported by standard ISO freight trucks and trailers, double-stack rail cars and container ships. Assets are free to move rapidly and efficiently, nationwide and even worldwide.

HIPPO USA is a Texas-based worldwide supplier of top-tier equipment for the oil and gas industry. It provides reliable, cost-effective oilfield solutions and supply equipment that improves logistic response, expedites well stimulation and facilitates the timely production of resources.
