Alnas, the Almetyevsk-based plant of Rimera Group, has successfully completed pilot testing of its new pump unit in wells of the Aganskoye Field developed by Slavneft-Megionneftegaz. Serial production of the new pump unit has started.
The new ETsNAKI6-1250 high-performance pump of the 0115 series was tested as part of the pump unit. The equipment operated for 246 days in normal mode and continues to run without incident. The test operation raised no complaints from the customer.
The specific design features of this pump, compared to serially manufactured equivalents, ensure higher reliability and longer service life in wells in which the wellstream contains mechanical impurities. The new design of the operating members offers improved parameters, making it possible to increase the energy efficiency of equipment, raise its output by 4%, and reduce power consumption by 7.5%.
“Pumps of this series are high performing Rimera pumps that fully meet all of the latest requirements that oil companies have for oilfield pumps. In terms of their head and energy parameters, they rank on a par with the best Russian pumps. The new equipment has successfully passed pilot tests and put into serial production. This expands the lineup of Alnas products with modern equipment,” says Rimera Group R&D Center Director Sergei Sibiriov.
Rimera Group is a division of ChelPipe, combining its assets in equipment and services for energy sector companies. The Group incorporates leading Russian petroleum engineering companies, top manufacturers of pipe bends and valves, well logging companies, and a network of service facilities across Russia's key oil-producing regions.
