Rimera Delivers Oil Production Equipment to Belarus
12.04.2013
Belarusneft, the leading Belarusian oil company, has installed its first compression unit made by Alnas, the Rimera Group manufacturing company.
In response to a need for increased production efficiency from complicated wells, the Almetyevsk-based plant has built oil-production equipment optimized for Belarusneft’s production conditions. Rimera delivered innovative designs created by its engineering center: electric submersible compression units.
The new compression units are designed for use in oilfields with high solids content. The key feature of new equipment is decreased washer wear through firm attachment of impellers to the shaft. Additionally, the working parts are made of Ni-hard iron to increase resistance to wear and corrosion.
This being the first time Belarusneft has operated the type of equipment in question, Alnas engineers trained the customer’s employees and assisted them in installing the units.
“Belarusian oilfields are another site where Rimera is advancing a new standard of oilfield service: a comprehensive approach to meeting producers’ needs, for equipment, special-purpose machinery and service,” says Rimera O&G Equipment Sales Director Konstantin Samsonov. “This is not the first year Rimera has worked efficiently with the Belarusian oil company. We ship products by Izhneftemash (Rimera Group member) to Belarusneft.”
Last year, Rimera Group delivered to Belarusneft three 0615UETsNAKI5 compression units capable of pumping up to 40 cubic meters of reservoir fluids per day and 121 Izhneftemash sucker rod pumps.
Two more units from the new Alnas pump line will be installed at Belarusian oilfields soon.
