Rimera Develops New Pumpjack Variant

The Izhneftemash manufacturing company, a member of Rimera Group, has created a new variant of its sucker rod pump with a thrust of 7 tons.

Unlike the similar PNSh 60 pump drive, the PNShT 70-1.9-31.5 pumpjack has an extended range of rod stroke lengths. Special railing restricts access to both the pumpjack and the well mouth for extra drive safety. The electric motor is enclosed in an extra cubicle for added protection. Besides, the gear reducer hatch cover and bleeder plug are protected against unauthorized opening and oil draining.

“The pumpjack variant is in demand primarily from oil companies outside the CIS region,” says Oleg Kalmykov, Director, Export Sales Department, Rimera. “Given the capabilities of this equipment, the PNShT 70-1.9-31.5 can be expected to compete successfully with pumpjacks produced by foreign manufacturers.”

Pilot batch of PNShT 70-1.9-31.5 pumpjacks has already been put into production.
