Rimera Expands Partnership with Khanty-Mansi Autonomous Okrug’s Leading Oil Company
Alnas pump systems have successfully reached the acceptance time of 180 days and continue to run on Surgutneftegaz oil production sites. The compression pump systems, designated as 0615, with movable parts made of Fortron polymer, were designed to operate under conditions of higher-than-normal salt and solids content.
The upgraded design and use of polymers for movable parts have increased resistance to abrasive wear, yielding a boost in operational life of two to three times as compared to regular pumps, and 10 to 15 per cent higher energy efficiency.
“The delivery of the electric submersible pump systems to the Surgutneftegaz oilfields is part of the energy market’s only comprehensive proposition in the field of oil production,” says Konstantin Samsonov, Head of oil production equipment sales and service at Rimera Group. “Equipment made by Rimera’s Izhevsk plant is in operation in Khanty-Mansi Autonomous Okrug oilfields along with the Alnas pump systems.”
The other mechanical engineering company controlled by Rimera is in a close partnership with Surgeutneftegaz. In Q2 and Q3 2013, Izhneftemash will ship 27 units of equipment for well repair operations to Surgutneftegaz. The bulk of the batch will be composed of UNB-125x32S and US-50x20DS sledge-mounted stationary pump and mixing systems, twelve units of each. The contract also provides for delivery of three UNB-125x32U pump systems mounted on Ural truck chassis. The value of the special-purpose equipment to be delivered to Surgutneftegaz in Q2 and Q3 2013 will exceed the entire last year’s shipments almost two times.
