The new automated line of Laempe foundry equipment helps produce shaped cast moldings of pumping stages for a wide range of ESPs including those for marginal and high-rate well stock.
Today, Rimera Group’s Almetyevsk plant is setting up the new line’s tooling to manufacture more than 50 cast varieties of operating pump parts made of Ni-resist and hard Ni-resist alloys. The modern Cold box amine process for mold cores (involving cold-hardening mixtures) will cut the cast manufacture costs by a quarter and improve their quality and production rate.
“The launch and set-up of the new Laempe line will increase production of ESPs by 25% and help the Company take up a share of the RF market up to 30%”, says Stanislav Velikiy, Sales Director, Rimera Group.
It should be recalled that the automated Laempe foundry line for production of ESP rods installed as part of the first Alnas revamping stage, has helped reduce the production output cycle by five times. The foundry shop has also acquired seven biochemical absorption units for air purification. The modern dust and gas trapping units boast high air treatment capacities.
The total amount of ChelPipe Group’s investments spent to upgrade Alnas’s production capacity in 2011-2016 reached 2.5 bln rubles.
Rimera Group is a division of ChelPipe, combining its assets in equipment and services for energy sector companies. The Group integrates leaders of Russian petroleum machine engineering, a network of service centers in Russia’s key oil producing regions, and a geophysical survey company.
