RIMERA GROUP's Izhneftemash plant has made first specimens of new equipment - INM-3-CHR switchboards for electrical submersible pumps.

INM-3-CHR VSD switchboards for electrical submersible pumps are designed to control pump, motor and other downhole equipment. INM-3-CHR switchboards incorporate the following innovations: variable speed drives for motor soft start, single-module design for improved reliability, built-in output filter and new software.

The development of the design documentation and assembly of the first pilot INM-3-CHR switchboard units rated to 250A and 400A took place at the Obninsk site of Izhneftemash in Kaluga Region. In 2016, batch production of switchboards is expected to be launched in Izhevsk. This year, RIMERA GROUP's Izhevsk plant is also expected to launch batch production of INM-TMS-4 telemetry systems.  A specimen of such telemetry system was on display at the ChelPipe exhibition stand during the 13th Moscow International Oil and Gas 2015 exhibition.

«Once we have reached the production targets, we have plans to manufacture up to 1,000 ESP switchboards and telemetry systems. The new equipment has been certified under Technical Regulations of the Customs Union. This will allow us to sell our products not only within Russia, but also to the neighbouring countries. Very soon, 4 switchboards and 8 telemetry systems will be dispatched for testing at our potential client's site», says Igor Korytko, Izhneftemash Executive Director.
