Rimera makes improved pump system variant for Tatneft’s service divisions

The orders for the new unit came from Leninogorskoye Upravleniye Tamponazhnykh Rabot (Leninogorsk Plugging Operations Office) and Tatneft-Rem-Servis.

The UNB-125х50 SO system, made by Izhneftemash, a Rimera manufacturing company based in Izhevsk, is designed for squeeze cementing operations performed as a part of well workover. The system is mounted on the KamAZ 63501 8x8 all-terrain chassis.

The UNB-125х50 SO comprises cement mixing and surge tank, a 4 cub. m (141 cub. ft) dry cement bin, a gaging tank, and an upgraded NTP-175 triplex plunger pump. A new pump design helps to improve performance and maintainability, and insures interchangeability of its key parts and units with those of the NTP-727 pump model.

The use of the UNB-125х50 SO system helps to reduce the number of equipment units needed for squeeze cementing operations by at least three times and cut oil and gas well servicing costs.

Following the UNB-125х50 SO acceptance tests, customer representatives said that the system fully conforms to the requirements contained in the specifications.

Rimera’s mechanical engineering companies closely work with Tatneft companies. Besides Izhneftemash, the Almetyevsk-based Alnas factory also contributed to deliveries of equipment to the Tatarstan oil company in 2012.
