Rimera's Izhneftemash plant has made a new DP 82 rod pump drive. The new equipment will be operated at the fields of KazMunayGas subsidiaries.
According to the client requirements, all metal structures of the new pumpjack, i.e. access platforms, stairs and railings have been upgraded in order to make field maintenance easier. The basic pumpjack specifications are similar to the one with a DP 80 drive: eight-ton lifting capacity, 5 to 8 double strokes per minute, and a double reduction herringbone gear unit.
The first batch of 15 units will be shipped to the client in June this year. In 2014, Rimera's Izhneftemash plant shipped rod pump drives worth 225 million roubles to Kazakhstan, which made up 83 percent of the total export supples of rod pump drives.
- In 2015, Izhneftemash plant is planning to raise its pumpjack sales to Kazakhstan by 20 percent. We are prepared to further cooperate with the client in developing new equipment modifications to reach the target figures, - says Sergey Shunin, Chairman of the Izhneftemash Board of Directors.
