JSC Volgogradneftegeophysika (the enterprise is a part of Rosgeo state holding) performed vertical seismic profiling at 104-AGKM well of the Astrakhan gas condensate field.

The object is situated in the Krasnodar Territory of the Astrakhan Region. The work is performed subject to the order of subsoil user company within the contract made this summer year.

VSP and OVSP field data was registered (total 7,820 long meters), and the obtained materials were processed and interpreted. As a result, there will be prepared a work execution report to be submitted to the customer by the end of this year.

The surveys will allows for studying the reflection and absorption properties of the medium and be useful in making conclusions regarding the oil and gas potential of the object.
