JSC TATNEFT continues working on protection of the intellectual property rights for the results of the Company professionals' intellectual activities abroad. In September, the Company received patent GB N.2496954 for the invention "V-shaped whipstock for drilling sidetracking wellbores" from the UK Patent Office.
The present invention relates to devices intended for sidetracking of both cased and openhole wells. The technical result of the invention is the expansion of the tool application scope, increasing the reliability of its operation, extending the life period of the wells, increasing oil recovery from the reservoir, and increasing the profitability of the oil and gas fields development.
The patent provides for protection of JSC TATNEFT's intellectual property rights for the invention of "V-shaped whipstock for drilling sidetracking wellbores" in the UK supporting the Company's high competitiveness in the field of well drilling and workover.
N.G. Ibragimov, M.M. Zalyatov, F.F. Akhmadishin, A.A. Mukhametshin, and M.A. Ismagilov, professionals of JSC TATNEFT, are the authors of the invention.
