Tolteq Group, LLC, a leading provider of measurement while drilling (MWD) systems and components, unveiled its groundbreaking next-generation downhole measurement and logging while drilling (MWD/LWD) integrated system – TruCourse – at the annual Offshore Technology Conference (OTC) in Houston, Texas recently.

The TruCourse System is a complete customer solution for delivering real-time drilling and formation data, as well as extensive logged information, and includes the TruCourse Top Mount Pulser (or a retrievable pulser option), the TruCourse Directional Module with an integrated gamma sensor, the TruCourse Battery, and the TruCourse Integrated SureMate.

The system features a number of technological advances never before seen in the industry, including concentric positive-lock connectors, conical snubbers, and a proprietary communication protocol that simplifies and speeds-up inter-tool communication.

To maximize the system's faster pulsing rates and extensive data, Tolteq will also release the TruCourse Surface System, an advanced rig-site solution that features an intuitive software interface, multiple display options, improved shock and vibration detection and wireless capabilities, including remote monitoring.
