The new Logging Head features a remotely operated emergency electrical disconnect that makes it possible to carry out a controlled release of the Logging Head from the coiled tubing.

Coiled tubing operations have been carried out for many years. Today, the approach continues to be popular, with the number of operations carried out every year increasing exponentially. Running electric logging tools improves the effectiveness of many coiled tubing operations. These operations require an electric cable to be run inside of the coiled tubing.
