Successful Implementation of 20 Stage Multistage Fracturing with CT in the Well in Russian Federation

Schlumberger and GPN-Yamal first time performed 20-stage fracturing with CT in the well. Two wells completed using that MSF technology. Technology «Premium Port + Jackal» optimizes fracturing process while utilizing shifted closable full bore sliding sleeves/ports and consist of:

  • Reclosable CT Frac Sleeve (full bore cemented sleeve that could be opened/closed unlimited number of times)
  • Open hole hydraulic packers that isolates zones in case of uncemented completion
  • CT Shifting Tool Harrier (CT/tubing conveyed)
  • Multistage Mechanical Packer Jackal (optional, could be used in case of inability to close one of ports). Resettable packer, could be activated in any part of liner with axial CT movements, 10 000 psi rated.
